You don’t need to be an athlete to experience an injury or pain in this area. Some of the biggest muscles in the body are here, and that is for good reason! Not only is the hip region the center point for movement in the body, it is a huge part of the way we get around. Our lifestyles dictate that we spend most of our days in hip flexion, which can put undue stress on the hamstrings, leaving us with tight quadriceps muscles. This imbalance can play a huge part in injuries once we do exert ourselves, but is a key component to our postural injuries, as well as low back pain. Helping to restore this balance is a major component to what we do.

Hip impingement syndrome, muscle strains, piriformis syndrome, sciatica, and many more.

You need your hips and your big muscles to do their jobs, so take the time to properly balance this issue. At Woodinville Sport + Spine we use corrective exercise, with stretching, Soft Tissue therapies such as Active Release Technique (ART), Graston, and Kinesiotape to supplement our sports chiropractic focus.
